The Process to Buy a CHARON System:
Salem Automation provides turnkey migration of your VMS system to the CHARON emulation environment. This the most efficient and quickest way to get your VMS software over to the new environment. Salem Automation has experts in these migrations equipped with the best hardware, software tools and experience to make this a smooth painless transition. We do the installation, setup and data migration in our Winston-Salem office and then come onsite to install the system and move any of the latest data over to the CHARON emulation.
We have found that some of our customer's VMS systems are dealing with classified data and the image backup tapes cannot be provided to Salem Automation. In this case, Salem Automation will come onsite and do the system setup, network configuration and data migration of the tapes to the new environment.
If it is not feasible for Salem Automation's staff members to have access to the image backup tapes, then Salem Automation can provide installation phone support on an hourly basis. (We have found this approach can greatly extend the time to get the system running, however, in some instances there is no other way.)
